Training Update 1st Feb onwards

Sorry for the late update, internet troubles, however
All this week and in every class.
Simple standing ringen to warm up.
Rapier: working against attacks in the straight line and subjections both inside and out paying lots of attention to sentiment.
Longword: coming to the bind and fuhlen.

As you can see we are having a week off messer and sword/buckler. This is so that we can focus on the pressure work and intention (fuhlen in longsword sentiment in rapier), using tactile awareness to dictate our entry against the opponent. The wresting (ringen) work is a simple standing arm disengage and arm bar on either side, building the framework for further unarmed techniques later.
