Thursday 30th Hither Green class. and overview.

An excellent week so far, sword and buckler and longsword have been our main focus. Very nice to have Pete Samworth (Instructor at the Folkestone Boar's Tooth class) up for Tuesday evening, and great to see his standard hasn't slipped at all. Pete's calm and natural style allowed me to coach students as they sparred with him. Very beneficial all round I think. a special well done for William who put in an excellent effort and showed great improvement.
Great work sparring from the beginners on Wednesday too  we have a natural coming through the ranks, very game it was a pleasure to see.

Thursday Night was cutting practice, building through moulinettes, cutting to build familiarity with the weapon. it was a lot of hard work, constant cutting and rope throws with no break, and everyone put in a lot of effort. If it makes you feel any better chaps, I did what you did in the lesson for 5 hours yesterday, I ache but it's a good ache, well done all see you at the next class.
