Monday and Tuesday classes, Barbican and Beckenham.

More moulinettes, these two cutting drills are proving very good for technique correction (and blisters which goes to show the effort you lot are putting in). In addition sword and buckler cutting drills with footwork and stationary. Bring gloves.

The main things that you need to pay attention to are:
The cutting path, keeping this true and making sure you pass through the target line not dropping below to add "whip" to the second cut.
Full rotation: these are big cuts, performed with the body not the wrist, designed to show the motion of the sword when invested with enough energy to make it hard to dictate to with subtle motions, this is about riding the sword and gaining awareness of it's motion.

Don't rush, start subtly and allow your body to sink into the routine, follow the momentum of the sword keeping your eyes up and on the opponent.
See you there.
